A: No. The kit works directly with Arcade2TV-XR and supported pinball
platforms. Firmware updates keep it optimized.

Q: Is installation beginner-friendly?

A: Yes. All major parts come pre-assembled. You’ll only need to
drill a few holes for the plunger, using the provided template. The rest locks
into place without screws.

Q: Can I switch between VR and non-VR pinball easily?

A: Absolutely. Both the plunger and nudge systems have dual modes for VR
and XINPUT, covering Meta Quest, PC, and consoles with adapter.

Q: Does it work with VPX?

A: Yes. 

Q: Does it work with VPX DOF system?

A: No — this kit is stereo audio driven. However, the level of
realism delivered by the haptics is already truly unparalleled.

Q: Can I try this before buying?

A: Yes! We’ll be at Pinball Expo 2026 in Chicago where you can
experience the kit hands-on.

Q: Does this void my warranty?

A: No, installing the kit does not void your warranty. However, the Tankstick
VR base is not replaceable, so please drill with care when installing the
plunger.

Installation

The kit arrives mostly pre-assembled — no soldering required.

  • Only the plunger requires drilling, using the provided template.
  • We include drill heads/tool bits, but you will need your own drill.
  • The main PCB uses a screwless lock-in-place design, making the upgrade simple.
